What is age range do you recommend?
We recommend the Good Dog in a Box family friendly dog training subscription for children between the ages of 5 and 12. The Calm Dog in a Box subscription for anxiety and stress relief in dogs is recommended for adults.
Do you wholesale product?
Yes we do. We provide two of our products, the Dog Smart Card Game and an exclusive 2 month Good Dog in a Box subscription, at wholesale prices to members of our Partner Program. We also have an online Partner Program where businesses can earn money be referring traffic to our site that purchases product. Please visit our Partner Program pages for veterinarians, animal shelters and rescues, dog groomers, retailers, dog trainers, and bloggers for more information.
Who wrote your curriculum?
The curriculum for Good Dog products was written by Jennifer Merritt, CPDT-KA, BS, a professional positive reinforcement dog trainer of more than 12 years. Jenn specializes in working with families with children and dogs and is a certified Family Paws Educator. Jenn is also a guild member and certified practitioner of Tellington TTouch for companion animals. If you have specific questions about the curriculum, please email us.
Can I get help during my subscription?
Absolutely. Once your subscription starts, you’ll be emailed information on how to participate in regularly scheduled webinars with our professional trainers, where you can ask questions and participate in discussions with our community.
My dog bites, can this program help?
Dog biting and aggression is a serious behavioral issue that we recommend be handled one-on-one with a professional reward based dog trainer in your area. Our program is not for aggression issues.
Can my child do this alone?
Good Dog in a Box is designed as a family friendly program for the adults and children in a household. Our program was designed to include parental supervision in the various interactions with kids and dogs. Our exercises are easy enough for a child to perform, but we always recommend a parent be present.
How long does it take to receive my first subscription box?
In November and December, we’ll be taking preorders of Good Dog in a Box subscriptions with delivery to start in late December / early January. In 2017, please allow 3 to 4 weeks for your first subscription box to be delivered in a new subscription.
How long does it take to receive non-subscription products?
Once our products start shipping on a regular basis in late December / early January, our normal processing time for orders will be 48 to 72 hours. Depending on where your ship to address is, your order can take two to eight days in transit.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our subscription box plans are nonrefundable.
When is my credit card charged?
In November, your credit card will be authorized, but not charged until the end of the month. After November, your credit card will be charged at the point your order is placed online. Please be aware that billing will take place in advance of your first subscription box being shipped, to allow us time to process your subscription.
Can I order a subscription outside the US?
Currently we are only shipping subscriptions and products to the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom. If you live in another country and would like to order something, please contact us with your full shipping address to arrange special shipping.
Do you charge sales tax?
We charge sales tax for any order sent to addresses within the state of Maryland (MD).
Using coupons
You may only use one coupon per order. You can not combine coupons and Good Dog Points from the Share The Box Program in the same order.
Using Share The Box Good Dog Points
If you are a member of the Share The Box Program and you would like to redeem Good Dog points for merchandise, just apply the points in the shopping cart when checking out. The system will tell you how many points you have to spend.
Do you ship to PO Boxes and APO addresses?
Yes, we ship to PO Boxes, APO addresses, and anywhere the US Postal Service delivers to.
Does my subscription automatically renew?
Subscriptions will automatically renew after the initial term has expired, unless cancelled. Subscriptions renew at the same term as the initial subscription. If you originally purchased a year long subscription, your subscription will renew on the anniversary date of your original order for an additional year. You may not cancel a subscription prior to the end of the subscriptions initial or renewal term, but you may cancel the subscription from auto-renewing at the end of your current term. To cancel a subscription from auto-renewing, log into your account, under Account Settings click on Subscriptions, under Actions choose Cancel. If you have any questions, please email us.
Can I cancel my subscription?
You can not cancel subscriptions once your order has been placed. You may cancel the auto-renewal of your subscription. See instructions under “Does my subscription automatically renew?”
How do I change my ship to address?
If you are currently receiving a subscription and you need to change the address that your boxes are being shipped to, please our customer service staff for assistance in updating your current ship to address.
Can I return a subscription or get a refund for a subscription?
Unfortunately, once a subscription is ordered on our website, it is yours (or your recipient’s) for the duration of the subscription. We do not offer refunds or returns on subscriptions.
Can I return and get a refund for a product that is not a subscription?
Yes, you may return any individual product that was not received as part of a subscription, within 14 days for a full refund, minus shipping. You will be responsible for paying to return the item to us. Please email us for the return address. The item must be returned in the original packaging. Packaging and item must be in like new condition and not damaged in any way to receive a full refund.
What if I receive a defective item?
If any product you order from us is defective or damaged when you receive it, whether it is an individual product or part of a subscription, please email us to arrange for a replacement.
