An adorable KickStarter is winding down this weekend with just $2,000 more needed to reach the goal. The Furever Home Friends is a new children’s book series that tells the story of real shelter dogs and their journey to adoption. Each dog featured has a corresponding 12-inch flannel stuffed animal.
I am very excited to be speaking at the upcoming BlogPaws Conference 2017, in Myrtle Beach, SC. For the pet bloggers in attendance, I’ll be speaking on how to grow and engage your audience with email marketing. “Email Isn’t Dead” is scheduled for Saturday, May 20th from 10:30 am to 11:45 am.

Does your dog spend the day relaxing? Is he just eating and drinking and lounging around all day? Must be nice! Or is your dog getting into trouble when he’s bored by checking out the trash can, chewing on the furniture, and eating pillows? Let’s end the freeloading and the destruction caused by boredom by putting […]

This week’s Good Dog Award goes to a formerly abused rescue dog, Murray the Beagle, who has found a career at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Murray is part of Atlanta’s Beagle Brigade. He’s “employed” as an agriculture detector dog and sniffs luggage to keep potentially harmful food products and pests from entering the United States illegally.

Jenn Merritt, BS, CPDT-KA, and Kim Merritt-Butler grew up loving dogs. Jenn became a professional dog trainer and Tellington TTouch practitioner and Kim became a serial entrepreneur. Last year they got their heads together and came up with a new way to approach dog training for families. Good Dog in a Box was born.
Their mission is to keep dogs and kids safe through education, awareness, and advocacy. They want to reduce the number of family dogs surrendered at animal shelters by promoting positive, reward based training techniques that are family and kid friendly.
Jenn and Kim want everyone that owns a dog to have fun and enjoy their furry companion. Together, we can make a difference.
